The Willingale Ring

The Epping Forest Museum have now acquired my medieval gold and sapphire ring.

I was at the unveiling last week with the farmer.

Strange seeing it again – still with dirt from the field – totally uncleaned from when I handed it in.

I think the local paper (Epping area) will be putting an article in this or next week.

The museums biggest acquisition for many years apparently.

Quite a few turned out for it – it will have its own special tabletop display cabinet shortly.
